P Pup Peaches is a gentle kind little girl. She looks to her sisters Penelope and Poppy for support..but is finding her way . She is here looking for her forever family and hoping they will teach her manners both in the house and out, house training and how to walk on a leash.
She is 3-4 months and almost 20 pounds..so she will be a large girl.
Peaches is hoping for laps to sleep in, warm beds to snuggle in, toys to play with and food to eat. Poor pups shouldn't be wandering back roads to survive..PetConnect is very happy Peaches and her sisters are here . And are helping them find their new family...
Because she is a baby, at 4 months, she'll require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue her training - no exceptions! She is up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months.
Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town-homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old.
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
All PetConnect animals are spayed/neutered unless it is medically advisable to wait because of age or health concerns. In this instance, PetConnect requests an additional deposit of $100 which will be reimbursed with proof of spay/neuter. All PetConnect Rescue animals must be spayed or neutered to help stem the vast problem of overpopulation
