Diesel is a deaf 8 yr young blue brindle pit pull in need of a new home. He finds himself in this situation as his owner was unable to take him when he moved. A family member has kindly taken Diesel in, but due to medical issues is unable to give him the exercise and attention that they know he deserves. So they contacted WAAAG to find Diesel a loving forever home that will understand his special needs.
Diesel is gentle and loving and has shown no aggressive tendencies with other animals. He was raised for several years with 2 other dogs with no problems other than he can be protective of his food. Therefore, he will need to be fed away from other animals. He doesn't not appear to be too interested in cats. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Diesel's deafness has not seemed to effect him negatively. He does recognize some hand signals. Diesel has spent much of his life on a run. He was brought into the house during inclement weather and showed good manners while inside. He is house-trained. Diesel will require a yard and/or to be walked on a leash as he tends to be an escape artist. He knows basic commands and is a very social boy when given the opportunity. He is a friendly boy who just needs to be loved, exercised and socialized. Won't you give Diesel a chance to become your new best friend?
