Joan Jett is a most unusual two year old petite at 38 pounds, black Lab
mix female that has the most wonderful expressive face and darling ears that frame her face with an expectant and happy expression. This girl is very intelligent and attentive about all things surrounding her in life. She walks great on a lead, is crate trained, wonderful with other dogs, not great with leaving a cat alone ....but will give chase, rides very WELL in a vehicle, extremely smart, enjoys running, playing in water, absolutely loves chew toys and NO AGGRESSION. Only love and the desire to be everyone's friend in life. She came to be in foster care due to her owner losing their home. The former owner stated Joan Jett has lived inside their home since she was 9 weeks old. She lived with two kids (13 and 14 yrs.) and so we see no trauma in her
life these first years of her life. She is very happy, willing to please
and she was puzzled as to why she was turned in to a shelter originally.... but not in a good foster home. She came close to being euthanized at the shelter but was spared by a foster stepping forward. She has a second chance in life and we are hoping someone will take advantage of her wonderful qualities as a family companion and pet.
