How adorable is Nanette?! This lovable Shih Tzu was transferred to us recently from Stockton. We are still getting to know Nanette but so far she seems very trusting, mellow, and sweet. Nanette loves to sun-bathe, go on walks, and hang out with people. She loves attention but is also fairly independent and doesn't mind doing her own thing. Nanette does great with other dogs of all sizes and is a very happy-go-lucky girl. She is the perfect size to take with you wherever you go and also seems to have hair, not fur, which makes her great for people with allergies. Nanette doesn't do much barking so she'd be great living in an apartment setting.
Nanette is about 11 years young and weighs around 12 pounds.
Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.
Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
Our Adoption Process...
Most dogs have an adoption fee of $200.00. Muttville conducts home visits for potential adopters and if you adopt a dog from Muttville we require a signed adoption contract.
