Jeremiah is a one year old, Maine Coon mix brown and black tiger male cat. Jeremiah was abandoned, and he managed to find his way to a residential backyard, where he discovered a few other cats being fed by a kindly human. The resident could see Jeremiah was not doing well trying to survive on his own, so Jeremiah was scooped up and brought to us. He was very thin and hungry, and so tired he slept for quite a bit. Then he popped out of his bed with bright eyes to explore his new world. Jeremiah is a character. He never fails to make us laugh because when you walk by his cage he rolls over on his back and sticks all four paws and legs straight up in the air so you’ll stop to rub his belly. Jeremiah is easy-going, playful and talkative. He’s very affectionate, and so handsome, with his Maine Coon features and his warm personality. Come meet him and see!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 3 pm. We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon – hope to see you there! We're also happy to set up appointments.
