Here's a coat color you don't see every day! Latte is a fawn merle and white gal who's about 3 years old. She came to us after she was attacked by her pack mates and her owner was unable to afford the bill to have her patched up. Our amazingly generous vet got her taken care of and asked if we could find a spot for her to recover, how could we say no? Latte has fully healed from her various cuts and bruises, she's fully vetted and ready to find a foster or forever home. She is an absolute love with people, she can't get enough cuddle time and she loves to be right next to you helping you out with whatever you happen to be doing. For as much as she loves to be right next to her person, we're happy to report that she's also totally fine in her crate when it's time to go to bed, she has no separation anxiety issues at all. Latte loves to play ball, which is not quite fetch, because she has not quite mastered the concept of bringing the toy back. She's a big fan of squirrel chasing, and she does so with enough intensity that we feel she's not suitable to a cat-owned home. We're still exploring her dog friendliness, at this point it looks like she's going to need slow intros so she knows the other dog will not jump her, and she'll probably do best as an only child or with a relaxed male dog her size or larger. She's bunking with our trainer, so we'll have better answers about her doggie social skills in coming weeks. Her personality in general is super sweet and loving, she's a big fan of laying on the sofa, but will stick to four on the floor if you prefer it that way. Give her a bone, pour yourself a glass of wine, and settle in for a good Netflix binge, that's a night well spent if you ask Latte. Would you like to find out more about this pretty girl with the dreamy coat? Email sotb.adoptions@gmail.com and we'll update you with whatever we've learned about her since this writing!

Our adoption fee is $195. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged if requested AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• The final step is a home visit. If the home visit is approved the potential adopters can begin their 14 day trial adoption period. Our adoption fee is $195 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip. If for some reason the dog isn’t a fit in their home we refund $95 of the adoption fee within the 14 day trial period. This is all listed in our Adoption Contract.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
