Well hello there, I am Roxy S! Welcome to a little about me. I am roughly 6 years old, beautiful flashy fawn with some silver starting to make it's way into my life, I have big brown questioning eyes full of love and I am a very gentle soul that is looking for someone that can be my everything. I am timid and shy but will warm up quickly to anyone. I need slow introductions to other dogs due to my shyness, I have a tendency to fear them. I currently live with 2 foster boxers and 2 foster little fuzzy yappy things, sometimes the littles get into my personal bubble and make me uncomfortable. I don't know how I would do with a cat because we don't have any of those here but I have chased squirrels so probably not the greatest idea unless they are super dog savvy. I also like kids but bigger kids would be better for me because I am so timid.

My days consist of hangin out catching whats left of the summer sun, I am not a big toy player or ball chaser. My most favorite is just to hang with my human. Humans are my world, I like to have my head stroked and told what a pretty princess I am. I do well in a kennel bit it is not necessary at all, I will curl up and take a nap while you go do business away from home. I am learning to like car rides, they are pretty foreign to me so I will pant and drool while we are driving to our destination. I do have a deep throaty growl and a pretty loud bark if I think someone is trying to invade my home but honestly I wouldn't hurt a fly. I like to go for walks, it's a fairly new concept so we are working on leave it...alot, while we walk, and some leash manners but I just want to explore every single thing the world has to offer.

If you think you want me to come cuddle with you and make me your shadow, slide on over to

About Northwest Boxer Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Northwest Boxer Rescue (NWBR) believes that every boxer deserves a chance to live a happy life in a loving home. Abandoned or homeless Boxers will always find shelter, medical care, and ultimately a new home through the efforts of NWBR. By working with committed volunteers and local veterinarians we are able to rescue boxers every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them perfect loving forever homes. Working in conjunction with city and county groups, NWBR strives to educate the public and help end animal overpopulation and needless suffering. The commitment to share the love of Boxers is never ending.

We never discriminate on the basis of health or age. Our animals are evaluated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive any necessary medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes.
