We can not believe the amount of critically injured animals that come into this shelter every day. We just received another SOS from a partner shelter. A terri ... bly injured puppy was just found on a busy highway, run over by a car. This little guy can't be more than 5-6 months old. He is screaming in pain, and he needs to get to an emergency hospital ASAP for medical treatment.
The number of animals we have taken over the weekend, is just overwhelming, but we can not let this puppy suffer. We have a volunteer on her way to get him and bring him to the emergency vet right now. We simply can not keep up financially, and we desperately need your help.
Please go to www.nycsecondchancerescue.org/donate to help with little JJs medical care. He is bleeding, and definitely has broken bones.
