Luciana. That’s my name. It is also the name of the ancient goddess of childbirth. Since that makes me sound a little stuffy, you can call me by my nickname, Lucy. And I am here looking for a home. Yes, I did have a home, but my mom works a lot and said, “You need a home where you can get the attention you deserve.” I miss her, but I am loving my new foster mom. It didn’t take me long to realize she really likes me and is going to make sure I get a great home.
They tell me I am a boxer mix—maybe with a Spaniel or a small Lab (?) and I am about 2 ½ years old and weigh about 30 pounds—so, I am pretty small. The small part means I am a great lap dog. I really love laps…I’m smaller than I look. I am already house and crate trained, and I walk really well on my leash. My foster mom wishes I would go potty faster, but I really enjoy the walks, and I like the exercise.
I am still adjusting to my foster home, and I am learning about not jumping on people, but I am just so glad to see them. At night, I like to curl up on your feet and keep them warm. And when the alarm goes off, that’s my signal to wake you up with kisses. I would love to have a doggie companion to live with me. I really like other dogs; I would even love to have two! I haven’t met a cat—so we aren’t sure about cats. And my foster mom doesn’t have children so we aren’t sure, but I’m pretty friendly.
So, if you are looking for a sweet, girl to keep you company and keep you warm at night, I am waiting for you. Just ask my foster mom, she says I am an incredibly sweet girl looking for a home where I can cuddle with my person. Go ahead and fill our an adoption application at the address below and come meet me.
