Papito is a sensitive guy who just wants a permanent home. He's a spirited little older man who loves cuddling in blankets and playing with his favorite people. He's a snuggler once he adjusts to you, and doesn't mind getting decked out in sweaters and doggie bling. He's a staff favorite at our Grant Ave location, and they would love for you to fall in love with him as much as they have! Papito could live with polite dogs, cats, and children who will be gentle with him.
Location: Foster Care
Breed: Chihuahua mix (Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label)
Age: 6-10 years old
Weight: 7 pounds
Reason for surrender to shelter: Papito met with a double whammy, all within the same month - his first family surrendered him because they thought he was sick and his second family's other dog kept trying to beat him up!
If you are interested in meeting Papito, please email email@example.com for an application. If you have questions, please email the above address or contact our adoption staff member at 215-545-9600, ext. 70.
