Crater's Story...
Crater is the perfect spokesmodel for spunky senior dogs, because he acts like a dog about half his estimated age of 10 yrs young. Crater is still a pretty strong guy (he says fitness is a passion of his) and would love to go on runs/hikes/adventures with you! You could probably tell from the picture that Crater has a goofy, puppy-like personality. He's outgoing and friendly and loves to show off. Crater also enjoys a good cuddle and LOVES attention. You know that person in your life that just never seems to age? Well that's Crater in the dog world! Adopt him and maybe he'll share his secret to never-ending youth! ;-)

Crater gets along well with his kennel mate and would love to meet your dog from home. Bring them in and staff can help introduce everyone. You can visit 10 yrs young Crater at our West Valley Animal Care Center at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Crater's $20 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies certificate and County license. Crater- A3839970

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crater, a Phoenix American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
