Facts about Norman

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10818374
  • Hair: Medium

This people-pleaser is eager to be whatever you need. Making dinner for yourself? He’ll monitor food prep. Coming home from a long day at work? Leave your jacket with your personal doorman. Busy at the computer? Don’t worry, he’ll assist you by scooting pens and pencils your way.

But make no mistake - he’s also meant for the spotlight. Give the man some toys and an audience and be provided hours of laughs and Instagram-able moments. As much as he adores activities and attention, this funny cat also values his downtime. Norman’s life goals include unlimited beauty sleep (next to or on top of you, of course), consistent petting sessions and new companions galore.

Look no further for your next best friend - he’s staring right at you, waiting to be fed. Stare into his gorgeous green eyes and invite him into your life - he’ll make himself at home right by your side.

Norman is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, negative for FeLV/FIV and is $50 to adopt.

About Cat Town

About Our Rescue Group...

Cat Town is a 501(c)(3) cat rescue organization based in Oakland, CA. Formed by volunteers of Oakland Animal Services (OAS) (Oakland's municipal shelter), our mission is to find homes for the cats least likely to be adopted from OAS because they can't handle the stress of the shelter environment. By getting these cats into foster homes, they can relax and show their true personalities to potential adopters. We focus on older semi-feral kittens, stressed, shy or undersocialized cats, and cats who are older and/or have special needs. We are a relatively new organization and are all-volunteer run. We operate on a shoestring budget so can always use financial donations, as well as food, litter and other supplies. We are always looking for great foster homes and volunteers for everything that we do. Helping these vulnerable cats is pure joy! Please contact us at info@cattownoakland.org to get involved.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our cats are in foster homes, mostly in Oakland, CA, but some are in surrounding cities. Our fosters are generally very flexible about scheduling cat introductions.

Our Adoption Process...

All of our cats are in foster homes, mostly in Oakland, CA, or other nearby cities. We will talk to you by phone to make sure the cat sounds like a good fit for your home before setting up an introduction in the foster home. We have a pretty straightforward adoption application, which you will be asked to complete only after you have met a cat who you want to adopt. Our adoption fees for kittens and cats up to age 7 are $50 for a single cat or $75 for pair; cats age 8 an older are $35 for a single cat or $50 for a pair. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on their vaccinations and microchipped. Cats age six months or older are tested for FIV/FeLV.
