My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JETT is a 10 month old neutered black male Lab who weighs 39 pounds. Jett is a cute guy that is down on his luck. He was a stray to the shelter after being hit by a car. He is need of a home that will allow him to recover and blossom into the wonderful guy that he is! He is good with other dogs. He is approved for kids 10+.

Update: Jett had a wonderful Christmas and hung by Santa's hat all night in hopes that he could meet the jolly man. Jett would love a home with a fenced in yard, so once he can run and play, he can take off. He will chase squirrels so no small animals for this boy. Jett has lots of energy during the day but settles in for a nice long nap in the afternoon and sleeps through the night. He will even go back to sleep in the morning after a short potty break. Jett is cute and so cuddly and is hoping to find a family that wants to play with him.

Update: Jett is starting to settle in at FM and gets along well with the resident lab and beagle. Today FM let him up on the sofa to watch for Santa. Jett is looking for a loving family, with a fenced in yard and maybe another furry friend. Jett is learning how to walk on the leash. He knows some commands. He knows "sit" and working on "down" and "stay". He loves to come on the sofa if invited for a snuggle or quiet time. He is sweet and loving puppy looking for a family to continue his training. He is a small lab that would love to become someone's companion.

Update: Foster Mom says I am all puppy, and cute as a button. I am housetrained and crate trained, sleep through the night, and love to chew on toys. I am a strong chewer, so they have to be strong toys. Originally my pelvis was fractured and I had been resting at the vet's for several weeks, but am ready for my furever home now. The vet said I can walk about a mile now and play softly, although Foster Mom is keeping me on the low key. I pull on the leash, as walking on a leash is so much fun!!! I will benefit from an Easy Walk harness and need to go to obedience classes. I already know a few commands and will learn for treats.

Update: Jett is doing well and needs to continue to walk on leash only for a couple more weeks suring his rehab.
