Hank is another dog from the Hartford pound that ran out of time and was facing a horrible fate. One of our fosters offered to help us out with him and we’re sure glad he did because Hank is amazing! His foster family has nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He’s great with their dog, their young grandchild and is just an all-around well behaved boy. He loves to give kisses and rest his giant blockhead on your lap! Hank is housebroken and crate trained. He’s a polite gentleman. If you’re looking for a dog that enjoys walks but isn’t a ball full of energy 24/7 – Hank’s your guy. Please email kenwayscause@aol.com if interested!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Hartford Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
