Little Rascal's Story...
Little Rascal's the name and mischief is my game! I'm a cat on the go and I'm looking for a partner in crime! My life has been a bit rough recently, I was abandoned at a neighbors house when my owner couldn't take care of me anymore and then I was brought to DCACC, even though my life has been a bit rocky lately I don't let that get me down! I know my family is out there somewhere and hopefully with any luck they will find me soon! Think it might be your family? Call the shelter and make an appointment to see me, I'm currently hanging out in a foster home but I'd love to come in and mmet you! Let's see what kind of trouble we can get into together! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Rascal, a Wheaton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
