Taco is a pint sized, 3-4 year old, Chihuahua/Terrier Mix who was found roaming the streets of Philly with some minor abrasions and punctures on his body, which lead us to believe he may have been involved in a scuffle with another dog while on the run. He was taken to ACCT where he was cleaned up and treated with Rimadyl and antibiotics, which is where our rescue volunteers found him huddled in the back of his kennel trying to ignore the sounds of the loud, noisy shelter. After spending some time with him, they knew they couldn't leave him behind. He is currently doing wonderful in his foster home, which allows him to interact with children ranging in ages from 5-13, and dogs of multiple sizes, including Great Danes. He does fabulous with both and would make a great addition to any home! Taco is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. He is also negative for for diseases like Lyme's and heartworm.
