What can we say about Wyatt!!??? He is 8 to 10 months old, weighs 20 pounds and was kept in a SMALL crate his entire life, well until we rescued him! Wyatt loves to play with other dogs but his is a bit shy when you first meet him...hence living in a crate his entire life! Wyatt needs a home to call his own, a home where he is allowed to be a dog, a home where he can get the love and attention he so desires and deserves! His adoption fee is $350.

About Pets In Distress of South Florida, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all volunteer run "no-kill" rescue group which takes in and places for adoption unwanted pets. We do not have a shelter but operate as a foster network. We rely solely on volunteers to provide foster homes for our pets until they are permanently placed in adoptive homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets can be seen by appointment. As we are a foster network, our available pets are living in our homes with us. Please call us at 954-472-8667 to make arrangements to meet them.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoptors must be 25 yrs. old or older. Our fees vary from $25 to $50 for cats and from $125 and up for dogs and puppies depending upon the breed. We do charge more for pure breeds. We realize that our adoption fees can be high, but as we are not subsidized we have to rely on monies generated from adoptions to pay our medical expenses. That is the only way we can continue helping animals.
