I was dumped from a pickup truck on a county road in a small Texas town. I tried to catch my owner but my little legs just couldn't go fast enough. A kind lady saw what was happening and scooped me up. She tried to catch my owner but they sped away. This kind lady called SPOT and they found me a nice foster home. I am great with kids, dogs, cats, and even chickens! I can walk on a leash very well and am almost completely house broken. I love to play and give kisses. Looking for a new forever home!
We are the Wharton County Stray Pet Outreach Team (SPOT). We are a Foster Care-based program and we assist and support those who have rescued stray or neglected animals. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, heartworm test and medically treat all the animals that we offer for adoption.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Animals may be viewed on our website: Since most of the animals that are ready for adoption are currently in Foster Homes, they can be seen by appointment only. Please call (979) 253-3446.
Our Adoption Process...
We have an application & reference-check procedure. Dog adoption fee is $75 and Cat adoption fee is $50
