Houston, TX area: Joshua is waiting for a home of his own. This sweet boy was taken in by an FPA Volunteer after a plea went out to help get him off the streets of Houston, where he was fending for himself. Joshua was born around 6-2015 and currently weighs 49 lbs. He has a scar going down his back, just a sign of the abuse he has endured. He is believed to be a Border Collie mix and is fully vetted, micro-chipped, crate and house trained. He is currently in a foster home with 3 other dogs and gets along well with everyone but no cats for this boy. Aside from playing with his foster siblings, he loves to roll around in the grass and soak up some sun while outdoors. He is quick and eager to learn and would make someone a great jogging partner or do well in agility activities. He walks well on a leash except when he sees another dog where he gets overly excited but is working on being more patient in greeting other dogs he meets while out on walks. At the same time, he is very laid back and enjoys being near his people the most (more than playing with other dogs) and is happy to cuddle on the couch/bed and watch TV or sleep.
