Finley's Story...
Finley, who we believe is a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, ended up in a rural county shelter where he was absolutely terrified. Thankfully they called and asked if we could come to the shelter and evaluate Finley to see if we could take him into our adoption program. Although he was very scared we decided that we would take him in. As soon as he got in the car of our employee his personality completely changed. He sat in her lap all the way to the clinic and even gave her the tiniest bit of a kiss. Finley walks very nicely on a leash and loves treats. He would probably do best in a fairly quiet home.

If you are interested in this pup, please visit our website at www.tysorvet.net and click on the adoption tab where you will find a link to our adoption application. Be sure and fill in every field or the application will not send. You can use n/a, etc. for questions that do not pertain to your situation. Our adoption fee is $150 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations up to the date of adoption, heartworm test, worming, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finley, a Siler City Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
