A volunteer writes:
Prince is exhibit A for why older cats are such awesome companions. This gentleman is relaxed and positive about everything, taking the little things that might bother young cats and kittens in stride. You''ll never find him running around in a frenzy knocking over his water dish; he doesn''t meow and cry if he''s not the center of attention. Prince likes to watch the action, receive pettings and scratches, and interact with people-but he also seems totally fine with hanging back and taking it easy. He knows his manners too; Prince did very well on his behavior test, and he''d be a perfect fit in just about any home, even one with kids. If you love mellow yellow felines who won''t keep you up all night desperate for more playtime, then you must meet Prince today!
