Hello, I'm Doran! I came to the shelter with my mother, Diamond. Shortly after arriving at the shelter one of the medical volunteers noticed something different about my chest and I was diagnosed with a condition called pectus excavatum. I know, it sounds like a big deal with a name like that but all that means is that my sternum (the bone in my chest) and the cartilage that connects it are deformed. This causes a narrowing of the chest and can make my chest appear and feel like it is slightly concave. This doesn't hold me back any though, I love to run around and play with the kitty pals that I've made here at the shelter. I'm still very young so I would do best in a home with a young kitty pal or even better, being adopted with one of my feline friends here! See you on adoption day!
10/31/16- UPDATE! I recently saw the vet and will need to be monitored for a few months to determine if I will need surgery.
If you have not already done so, please visit www.catsontheweb.org to fill out one of our online adoption form. Thank you!
****I AM CURRENTLY IN FOSTER WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF ADOPTION**** :)
