Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calling all Basset lovers! This sweet senior Bassett hound was surrendered to our local shelter along with his St Bernard brother earlier this year. His brother has found a forever home, and Flash says its his turn now! Flash had severe rotten teeth and several fatty masses that were bothering him when he came to us. Flash had a complete dental (which unfortunately left him with only about 5 teeth) and all of the bothersome masses removed. He is absolute gem that seems to love everything.
What Flash loves most in this world is laying on the couch and being with his people. Since we would like to give Flash exactly what he wants in his retirement years, we would love for him to have an adopter that also spends most of their time at home. He deserves it!
$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals.
