SADE's Story...
Sade (pronounced like the pretty singer, "shah-day") is the best office cat ever! She's a willowy, petite girl who is incredibly affectionate. Sade takes her office duties very seriously. If you are typing, she will walk across the keyboard. If you're talking on the phone, she will purr in your other ear. If work is making you cranky, Sade will make you laugh. She's an independent lady, so we give her free roam. Usually she finds a nice sunny spot in the window to take a nap. She's seen many "office dogs" come and go, so she is able to stand up for herself around sniffy dogs. Sade needs a hero because she's been with us for 2.5 years. She's a great office assistant, but she'd be an even better part of your family.

Sade takes miralax sprinkled over her food daily because her pelvis was injured when she was younger. This costs less than $20 for a years supply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SADE, a Decatur Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Decatur, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
