** IN VERMONT ** Meet Denver! Here is a Video of Denver who loves swimming: https://youtu.be/58LjFGfsxm0
And on his Pack Walk with Trail Tails VT and even 1 of his Alumni from P4P Maple (fka Patsy): https://www.youtube.com/
Denver is approx. 18 mos. old (approx DOB 5-19-15), male, neutered, vetted, micro-chipped, and about 53 lbs. He is house trained and crate trained. Denver is very unique, smart and very loyal. He will curl up with you to watch TV or a movie and loves long walks. He would love an safe area to run and play with you (i.e. fenced in yard) as he is very active and loves soccer balls, tennis balls… just about any type of ball and loves to go for rides in the car. Denver would do great with someone that wants a 4 legged best friend, would do best in a rural setting vs. a bustling city life. He would be a great Country boy! He would enjoy great hiking, running, swimming, or any active lifestyle that he can be a part of! Denver knows the commands: Sit, Wait, Down, and Leave It . He is very good waiting for his breakfast/dinner. He loves to play ball, it's sort of fetch, but he would rather you play the game and chase him...he absolutely loves to run! He would love to be able to continue his Pack Walks with Trail Tails Vt. He is a very loving dog, is full of character, and is a funny pup. He will do best as the only pet in the house, an experienced family, and with older kids. He will steal your heart quickly!

Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
