Facts about Kimi

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
DOB August 26, 2016. Kimi is an adventurer! His nickname is Scamp in his foster home because he is such a cheeky kitty, and constantly wants to play, explore, and climb the cat tree. His other favourite pasttime is to nap whilst cuddled up to his foster parents and brother/sister cats. He is very friendly and trusting, immediately loving anyone he meets.
Fancy a shower? So does Kimi!
Want to enjoy a nice dinner? Kimi does too!
Have anything white and fluffy? A blanket? A dressing gown? Kimi will suckle on it and it will soon be soggy but it is the most adorable thing!
He is the funniest, most adventurous and high energy kitten and even when he is being naughty you can't be mad at those beautiful eyes!!
Kimi was rescued along with 49 other kitties from a hoarding situation in Quebec and brought to Toronto to find a new life. He absolutely MUST go to a home where he will have another cat or kitten to play with as he is very social and would not be satisfied being an only cat.
Kimi has been a wonderful addition to his foster family. He is so sweet and loving, and also has a hilarious little personality that will keep you on your toes and make you smile everyday. His new family will be very lucky to have him and they must be able to give him the time and attention he needs.
He is very special.
Come meet Kimi today!

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email adopt@torontocatrescue.ca.

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
