Sis spent some time out of the shelter in a foster home. Here is what her foster family has to say about her, "Sis is housetrained and crate trained. She is somewhat cat friendly: She does not harm my cat, but always wants to play with him. However, my cat stands his ground and chases her out of the room. She is very dog friendly and wants to play with every dog she meets. She would be ok with older kids, but she may be too energetic for small children. She is very sweet and loving, but needs an owner who will continue to train her. She would prefer a home with a large fenced yard or an owner who likes to run with her."

Sis was found stray. The person who found her told us she is friendly and got along well with her dogs. Sis weighs 43 pounds.

As with any young pup, she will need supervision, training, and outlets for her energy.

The Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter adoption fee is $67. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, mandatory spay/neuter, heartworm test, and microchip.

To find if this dog is still available for adoption, please stop by the shelter. Please provide the ID number at that time.
