**IN VERMONT** Meet Teddy Bear! Here is a video: https://youtu.be/iM9qEgQ7FnE
Teddy Bear is approx. 2 yrs old, about 55 lbs., vetted, neutered, and micro-chipped. He has been great with every dog he has met in SC; he tested well with the cats and only wanted to steal their toys! Teddy Bear has a low to medium energy, is crate trained (doesn't love it but resigns to it), potty trained, and is a quiet non destructive boy. He listens very well, is very smart, loves to go for walks and loves to play in the yard. He can be left alone in the house but prefers the radio to be on so he doesn't feel all alone. Stay tuned for more information as Teddy Bear is a new rescue!
If you are interested in adopting Teddy Bear please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site) thanks!

Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
