*We do not know Bonnie's parents - so we are unsure of her breed, but our best guess is that there is some Lab in the mix. We don't have any information on either parent dog. Adopters should be prepared for a dog that could be medium or a large size dog.
Bonnie is glad to be in rescue and wants a forever home!
Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:
8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordatella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.
2 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination, completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination, Rabies Vaccination, completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.
Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.
~ Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $150-$250 for a neuter and $300-$400 for a spay in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $50 to $100 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.
11/17/16: Bonnie is a top notch cuddler. She is a little more reserved than Caroline and follows her sister's lead. When she's had enough play time, she will come looking for you to pick her up and hold her. Bonnie has definitely nailed the puppy dog eyes and they are impossible to resist!
