Breed: Chinese Crested Powder Puff

Age: 5 years

Energy: lively and happy

Barking: fairly quiet, expect alert barking when someone arrives

Size: small, 10-12 lbs

Kids: over 8 yrs. please

Cats: yes

Dogs: yes

Health: excellent but needs dental - see details below!

We adopted this little guy to a family in Kennewick nearly exactly 5 years ago.
Apparently the family had acquired another dog (spayed female) and subsequently gave both dogs away to a country home in the Prosser area just over a month ago. We only know this because of the little male's Microchip!

Well, guess what? GIVING DOGS AWAY is a very POOR way to find them GOOD homes.
Because the family that took the dogs MOVED OUT and left them behind!

So we got a call this AM about these dogs, and although we are under no obligation to take the female (JILL), since she did not originate here, we took her along with the little male we adopted out 5 yrs. ago.

BOTH dogs are understandably stressed and confused.

They need homes ASAP - to lessen the stress on them and because we are overly full ATM (and all the sudden!)

Their adoption donations will be as follows:

$200/each with $100 back/each upon completion of a dental cleaning which will need to be completed by the end of December (contract will be signed upon adoption with that addendum).

We would prefer to keep them together but if separation is necessary we will do that for their sake and the sake of finding them homes sooner than later - HOWEVER preference WILL be given to someone who adopts both dogs!

All adopters are required to pick up their new family member HERE, within a week of your application being completed and being approved to adopt. Because this is our home, we have LIMITED SPACE to keep dogs, THANK YOU for your understanding.  The sooner an adoptable dog finds a home, the sooner we can rescue another!

****If you are unable to come adopt for longer than a week, a deposit ($50) and/or a $10/day donation towards boarding may apply!****

*Be aware that if you cannot adopt the puppy you've already placed a deposit on, you forfeit your deposit and it becomes a donation to our rescue.*

Thank you for your understanding

**All our foster dogs and puppies have been vaccinated with Galaxy DA2PPv at least ONE TIME. When appropriate and available, they get a rabies vaccination, and they have been dewormed at least once. They come with a health record that reflects this at the time of adoption. They are also Microchipped and come with a free month of health insurance.**

No meet and greets take place without a completed/approved application.  **We DO allow out of state adoptions, but we DO NOT ship our pets.
