Fudge's Story...
Look at this sweet boy! His face just breaks your heart. He has such a sad expression, but surely he will be smiling when he finds a family to love him. He is SO unique looking and has an amazing soft coat with beautiful markings. He appears to be laid back, but is still opening up at his foster home. He weighs around 40 pounds and 1 years old and his breed really is a mystery but does appear to have some Cattle Dog in him.

Fudge tends to be timid of men and needs time to warm up and trust them. He is much better with women and kids. He is dog and cat friendly and enjoys playing fetch. He is still terrified of a leash and still needs a family to work with him on that to show him how fun walks can be.

His adoption fee is $150 and applications can be found at sophiescircle.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fudge, a New Smyrna Beach Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in New Smyrna Beach, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in New Smyrna Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Smyrna Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Smyrna Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Smyrna Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
