About Humane Society Pet Rescue FL Inc

About Our Shelter...

We carry on our mission from funding given by the generosity of the general public. The more help we get the more work we can do for the animals.
MISSION: Our mission is to stop needless euthanasia. We have a no kill policy! The volunteers work very hard to educate the general public about treating pets more humanely by offering advice on, training, feeding, grooming, offering low cost spay and neutering vouchers, and preventive medications.

When funds allow, we help the public owning pets during hardships. Here's what we do after a pet is surrendered to us; we temperament test the pet, then we treat the pet for any medical conditions, and grooming. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, preventatives, behavior issues, etc.
When our dogs are ready to go up for adoption they are promoted to find a forever home through our adoption process. In some cases home visits are done prior to placement.
