Hi there! I'm Griff and I am ready for my forever home. While I really like the staff here at AWL, I really think that I am ready for a family of my own. I do tend to bark a bit if I am behind a fence, and for this reason people overlook me, and that makes me sad, because I'm really just trying to say hi! Once you get me out of my lennel, I am much happier and LOVE to cuddle!I know basic obedience and walk well on a leash. I'm past the crazy puppy stage and really just want to hang out. Please give me a chance. I promise that I will love you forever if you do!

Our Adoption Process...

Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne's County (AWL) strives to find the best match for both person/family and for our animals looking for their long time homes. In order to foster or adopt an animal the person or family must submit a short adoption application and speak to staff.

Our adoption fees cover AWL's costs of spay and neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and assist in the continued mission of AWL to save the lives of homeless pets. Dogs are $140, Cats $35, and Small Animals (such as hamsters, etc) are $20.
