Jasmine is an adorable little Corgi/Basset mix, who is a very young 7 years of age! She found herself alone and afraid at a noisy shelter when her human passed away, but she is thriving now in her foster family, with lots of TLC and a few small dog siblings to hang out with! Jasmine is a very wiggly, waggy, affectionate little girl who comes running whenever we come home. She *loves* snuggling up with her humans to sit or nap, and with other dogs her size. We feel she was in an adult household, since she is most comfortable with a stable, quieter routine. Loud noise and kids seem to make her nervous, and she will look for a quiet place to hide. Jasmine adores going for a few good walks each day, and will head out with a wagging tail and a happy outlook! She *loves* food, and chicken/fresh veggies added to her kibble is her most favorite thing (besides naps)! She will sit for treats and take them gently, and she is housebroken. Jasmine is also crate-trained, but she is fantastic out of the crate and doesn't get into anything. She is pretty quiet in the house, but will alert us if someone is in the driveway or at the door. Jasmine is a joyful addition to her foster family, but she is hoping for a family of her very own!
All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.

AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
