Chelsea, Lately's Story...
Please allow me to introduce you to Queen Chelsea the canine belle of the ball! Chelsea is a regal three year old female border collie with a luxurious coat and impeccable manners. She takes great pride in her appearance and has the very unique feature of one blue eye and one brown eye and they sparkle and grab your attention. Chelsea has a not so happy past and was turned into a high kill shelter in the Houston area by her owners who thought she only deserved the life of a strictly outdoor dog. Chelsea deserves much better than this and will give you all of her sweet love in return for your kind treatment of letting her become and feel as an accepted part of your family. Since Chelsea had to previously fend for herself, she has trust issues with other dogs and has a low regard for cats, so she would be best as the only pet of the household. Chelsea would do well with either a single person or a family with school age kids who will let her cuddle up with you on the couch. Please consider providing Chelsea with a place in your home and your heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, Lately, a Seattle Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
