Jax's Story...
Hi! I'm Jax! I have one sister and two brothers who have already found their forever homes. I would like a forever home too! I'm a little shy at first but once I get to know you I'm a lot of fun. I love to play with toys and will snuggle into your hug when you pick me up. I'm also very curious and enjoy exploring. I'm not sure how big I'll be 'cause I'm not a full Yellow Lab... know how I know? Just look at my super-cool stand-up ears! Labs don't have that! I'm special :)

Come play with me at Five Acres Animal Shelter. I know you won't be able to resist my Jax-pup charm! My adoption fee is only $200 and that covers a bunch of stuff! Hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax, a St. Charles Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
