Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**ADOPTED***
Ahroooo!! I am Denver. I am a really sweet 8 month old beagle boy! I was one of the many beagles rescued from the horrible puppy mill. I've been with my foster mom and dad for a few months now and I'm trying very hard to learn to trust them. They love to sit on the couch with me and watch TV and sometimes I will even fall asleep after awhile. My foster mom loves to tell me how beautiful I am and feed me treats out of her hand. I'm slowly starting to trust her and will even let her pick me up while I'm running around in the back yard but I still run away from dad. I'm going to need lots and lots of time and patience for me to relax and forget about the things that happened to me back at the puppy mill.
I am the happiest when I can run and play with other beagles or any other type of dog. I have even started to play and wag my tail even when my foster parents are watching. Its just too much fun!! I love to chase those other dogs around and jump up and down and play tug of war. I did meet another dog yesterday who I did not like at all, I'm not sure why but I just didn't. I am waiting for the right family to meet me and take me home with them forever. I still get scared alot but I am trying so hard to be brave. Mom says I am taking tiny little puppy steps but I'm slowly getting better. I promise to be a good boy. Will you take me home with you?
