Hi! My name is Chellbear and I'm a rare orange female. Did you know most orange tabbies are male? Which makes me extra special. I'm kind of a finicky girl - I'm picking about the food I eat and like a quiet home. You see, I was abused and neglected before I came to Give Me Shelter so I'm a sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements. I'm looking for a cat savvy adopter who will understand my cat body lingo and know when I've had enough. That said, I really love attention on my terms of course and human companionship. Are you up for the challenge? Adopt me!

Please note:

  • Indoor only

About Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Every day adult and senior cats with treatable medical and behavioral conditions are euthanized. GIVE ME SHELTER's goal is to rescue these cats from certain death and place them into loving permanent homes.
GMS is a registered 501(c)3 organization and is dedicated to helping stop the overpopulation of unwanted and abandoned cats. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who are committed to bettering the life of adult cats who no longer have a home to call their own. Every time you adopt from us, you allow us to save another cat that would have otherwise died. We receive new cats into our system almost every week. Our website is constantly being updated, so please check back often!
