This sweet boy is Coby. He was found as a stray last month in Tx & brought to a high kill shelter where he sat scared to death, waiting for his owner to come get him. Sadly but not surprisingly that never happened. We could not let this boy sit there any longer so we had him picked up by a foster & he spent 3 wks in a home working on his social skills & house breaking. It was at that point we learned that our boy Coby was badly mistreated by his previous "owner". He is hesitant with strangers, he tends to warm up much quicker with women than men. He does like children but definitely a home with with kids older than 10. Both his foster in Tx & NJ have said that this boy is extremely smart & easily trainable. He is also a playful boy who will need a fenced in yard, I'm sorry but NO ELECTRIC FENCES. Coby is approx 2 yrs old, UTD on his shots, microchipped, & neutered. He loves to go for rides & is great in the car. Coby is crate trained however he can only be crated for a few hrs. So he would really do best with either someone who works from home, someone who is a stay at home parent, or someone who is retired. We can guarantee you, if you give this boy a chance you will not be sorry, he is a sweet loving boy once he knows you won't hurt him. We know there is a loving family out there somewhere for him...

About FurryTail Endings Canine Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

FurryTails Endings Canine Rescue is a small rescue based out of Central NJ. We are a volunteer group of friends & family, working on getting our 501(c)(3). We rescue from shelters in MS, GA, SC, NC, WV where there is an over abundance of strays & owner surrenders with a very high-kill rate. Please bare with us as we build and grow. It's a long process that is well underway, but we still have a long way to go. If you would like to help, please let us know! We would love to hear from you, because we strongly feel that without having people like you, we would not be able to save lives! We will do all we can to help our adopters pick the perfect family pet for there lifestyle. We also start our dogs with basic manners and test them for everything so you know what you are adopting from us . Our policy is to be honest about our rescued dogs temperament and health, we tell you everything we know about the dog/puppy. I know I do not like surprises so I do the same for our adopters. We charge lower adoption fees as we feel a good home is way more important then trying to get back what we put into our dogs . We do not do this for the money, we do it for the animals, to give them a second chance at a better life. All our dogs/puppies go from the shelter into a home setting to see how they get along with other dogs/cats. We answer all questions people have and support our rescued dogs and adopters til the end . We do not leave you after you adopt from us we are always a phone call or email away with questions you may have or training advice. Thank you for your support while we take this journey to change the lives of shelter dogs & puppies for the better ...

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because our dog & puppies are in foster homes, they can be anywhere within NJ or Eastern Pa. We will set up a convenient time for you as well as the person the dog or puppy is staying with, & bring them out for you to meet & greet each other...

Our Adoption Process...

Once you fill out our adoption application, we will verify your personal references as well as veterinarian reference. If everything is good, we will set up a time to come do a home check as well as a meet & greet w/ the dog/puppy that you have requested. If you are approved to adopt, we will arrange for you to either pick up the dog/puppy or we will bring him/her to you where a contract will be signed & the adoption fee will be paid.
