Bella is a sweet tempered lap cat found wandering outside with no claws to defend herself.  Despite her ordeal she is affectionate and loving once she gets to know you.  She is not happy with change so it may take her a few days to get used to a new environment and schedule.  She gets along fine with other calm, laid back cats but she needs a slow introduction to them first. Bella has no claws yet she seems unusually well adapted to living without them.  She is perfectly litter box trained and extremely well behaved (one of the advantages of adopting an adult cat).  She was given a very thorough blood workup and physical exam at a veterinary hospital.  The vet said all test results are fine, including negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), and feline leukemia (FeLV).  Bella is now up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and has been treated for fleas and other parasites.  Please contact Dawn at 321-795-6344 or email

About Helping Overpopulation of Pets End (HOPE)

About Our Rescue Group...

Helping Overpopulation of Pets End (HOPE), is here to educate the public about the problem and put an end to unwanted animals in Brevard County Florida. Too many animals are euthanized in the shelters in Brevard County. Brevard should strive to become a no-kill County, doing all it can to find homes for the animals in need.
We foster animals in order to help abandoned, homeless, and stray animals find permanent and loving homes.
We educate all people on proper pet care.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption events are held at Pet Supermarket stores in Brevard County (West Melbourne, Melbourne, Indian Harbour Beach and Merritt Island) on Saturday afternoons. Please call for more information.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application prior to proceeding with the adoption process. If application is approved then a contract is signed. We take all our animals back for any reason.
