My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Oreo! This sweet girl is all snuggles and kisses. This poor little thing was dumped at a local high kill shelter with her pregnant sister. Against all odds and with a lot of luck, their story is one of the few that has a happy ending. Her sister was rescued first, but luckily for Oreo her new foster mom was there to rescue her just a few days later. Once out of the shelter where she sat scared and alone, she was ready to take on the world and never look back! All she wants to do is play and wrestle and snuggle all day. She still acts like a puppy and even though she only weighs 50 lbs., she still thinks she's a lapdog. She's a rambunctious little nugget that loves doing summersaults off the couch (yes, summersaults!) and has been known to be startled by her own reflection. She's extremely obedient and really doesn't need much basic training besides some leash work. Not only is this little angel already house trained, but she'll patiently sleep on the floor and wait for you to finish your dinner. She isn't a barker, and gladly goes into her crate at night to sleep. Arriving at her foster home on 8/27, she's still in doggy flu quarantine and hasn't been able to have any interaction with other dogs yet, but only shows quiet curiosity towards her fellow neighbor dogs when on walks. Unfortunately, her lack of furry friend company makes her a little too eager to play with her cat brother and for now likes to chase him, but we are hoping to correct her only minor imperfection and make her a snuggler to her feline friend as well. She just wants to make her foster parents happy and has a strong sense of right and wrong. She's as sweet and loyal as they come, and really deserves a forever home! She will come to you spayed and microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. If you have any questions, please contact her foster mom at Gena@CPRFund.com. Or, if you're ready to make her the perfect new addition to your family, please fill out the adoption application at CPRFund.com today!
