Abbot's Story...
Abbot and his brothers Foster and Harvey were attacked by a dog when they were very little. Sadly his mother and 2 of his siblings did not survive. A kind lady saved the three remaining babies and contacted St. Francis. Little Abbot was bottle fed for several weeks by one of our incredible bottle baby foster families. When he was big enough joined my family of fur babies. He is incredibly loving and handsome. He is silky fur and big inquisitive eyes. He is a little purr machine and loves to snuggle. Like all young kittens, Abbot is very active and would do best with one of his litter mates (or other foster siblings) or with a family that has another fur baby. This handsome love bug would make a wonderful addition to any family! Please email me if you would like more information about Abbot or any of his foster siblings.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbot, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
