Rudy's Story...
If you love a lab Rudy is the perfect dog for you. At only 6 months old, Huey had a bad day and ended up at the pound at a time when it was already full. He was so underweight(25 lbs at 6 months, when he should be more like 50) that no one wanted him. We fell in love with his sweet nature and beautiful eyes. So Lucky for him, we got him out before they could euthanize him to make space for more dogs coming in. His favorite hobbies include fetch, playing with dog friends, snuggling, and just being close to his people. Rudy has a great energy, he's laid back but happy to play in the back yard and go for walks. He's eagar to please and just a very happy puppy in general.
Rudy's adoption fee is $500 and includes his neuter surgery, microchip, up to date vaccinations, heart worm preventative, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area upon adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Rochester Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
