Ginger's Story...
Ginger is the mom to the litter of schnauzer mix pups we have. She will be taken from pups in 2 weeks and then spayed and ready to go into her new home to start a better life. She got bred by a min schnauzer and was then thrown outside. She had her babies on the cold ground and 3 died in the 1st week. Once we knew about them we had them brought to us and on the way another one had died. She is a wonderful mom and took the best care of her babies as she could. They were flea infested and starving. They are now in a wonderful foster home getting lots of love and attention. The foster mom says she is the perfect little dog. She will be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea prevention applied, is heartworm negative, will be groomed and microchipped. The rescue pays the lifetime microchip enrollment fee. She comes with food, collar, leash, toys and all medical records. If interested email Karen at for an application. Her adoption donation is $ 200.00. Unfortunately we do no have time to return phone calls so please email if you would like more info. The vets say she is between 12-18 months of age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Paris Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Paris, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
