Nico is a 4 year old chug (Chihuahua/pug) who was an owner surrender. He was so terrified and deemed unadoptable so his time was up when we rescued him. Within a few hours, he started to feel safe although he is still a little timid and skittish. He has the saddest brown eyes that will just melt your heart. He is house trained and walks well on a leash. He loves to go for long walks. He is a one owner dog who is happy to just be alone. He prefers females and should be an only pet. He loves to be petted and will put his head on your lap and look at you with those soulful eyes as if to say, I am safe and loved. Nico needs a female adopter with the patience to gain his confidence, and he will make your effort well worth it! Please come to meet him!
