Tragedy Made Me Homeless!!!
Nutter was born about April 17, 2014 and weighs about 65 lbs. He is a gorgeous boy that is here through no fault of his own. The story can be found on the internet, but here goes: A mother of four children, in the Buffalo area, dies of cancer and, apparently, there was no active father. The parents of one of the girls friends (also the mom's were friends) honors her dying wish that the other family adopt these four children making a blended family of six children! The two dogs were fine with the adjustment and fine with the kids. However, it seems that some of the new children had allergies to the dogs so the dogs were the last ones to suffer from the tragic loss of, the mom's, life. So, here they are with us. Nutter is a nicely active guy who will play with his humans and loves to wrestle with other dogs. He can be on the rough side when playing so a medium to large dog should be his doggie partner. When the play is done he loves to snuggle and thinks he's a lap dog. He is very good with children. He is a great dog that ended up homeless when he didn't deserve to be. He hopes you find him soon! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $250.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
