Courage's Story...
Banjo (formerly Courage) was brought in because the landlord wanted him tied when he was outside. Banjo knows commands sit, down, come, and off. Banjo will scratch on the door when he needs to go outside and has lived with two other dogs. They said he is tolerant around children and likes to be petted and hugged. His favorite activities are going for walks and jogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Courage, a Newland Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever for sale in Newland, or seeking a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Newland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newland paves the way for another one to be saved.
