A volunteer writes: JoJo was with us 3 years ago as a puppy. I still remember his beautiful cow print coat, and those big ears to hear the slightest sound around him. But someone abandoned this beautiful boy, and he hasn''t lost his charm at all. His brown eyes are lined with a hint of mascara, highlighting his male model looks. Jojo is eager to come out of his kennel, and I couldn''t be happier to accommodate him. At first, he pulls a bit on leash, and then he settles down for his midday walk. He is very friendly with me, and he struck the pose for his shelter pics. JoJo loves his backyard time, and grabbing and tossing a rope toy seems to be his favorite activity while out in the yard. Jojo loves any attention he can get, and cherishes every moment when in the presence of staff and volunteers. Come down to the care center and see this wonderful dog. That would really make his day!
Another volunteer writes: JoJo has such a happy outlook on life. His passive nature and big smile are both a delight when I put the leash on him to go for a walk. When he wants attention, he barks only one deep bark and then waits to be noticed. Once we''re outside, his youth shines through, and he pulls slightly in his eagerness to experience everything! Once he''s back in his cage, he quickly quiets down, and delicately takes his treat using only his front teeth to make sure your fingers are safe. If you want to adopt this happy boy, come to our Care Center on Staten Island and say hi!
