WHAT A STORY GRACIE HAS (AKA Jazzy from SBC #A497555)!

She waited for an adopter at SBC for over a month. During that time, she was doing well, kenneled with other dogs who were adopted, but she was overlooked. One day a kennel worker went into her kennel, and she growled and backed away, which earned her an 'Aggressive' label. Fearful would have been an accurate label; she is not at all aggressive and has never, ever bit or even fear-nipped. She is just very unsure of whether to trust you, but she has warmed up at her foster home remarkably!

The video below is at Jordan's house, the VERY NEXT DAY she was moved there. The first tail wag we've seen. We are beyond happy to see her so happy. She adores big dogs and we are not sure how she is with littles yet. She is very frightened of kids - she has never nipped at a child, but she hides when a little human is around. So she would do best in a home with kids over 16 years who are 'dog trained.' :)

One day soon Gracie will make someone a very loving and grateful life partner.

About Cause for SB Paws

About Our Rescue Group...

Cause for SB Paws is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to helping lost, abandoned, abused and homeless dogs from the streets and our city and county shelters in the San Bernardino area. Our goal is to rehome our rescued babies into pet-loving communities that will cherish these formerly forgotten souls.

We are a dedicated team of San Bernardino residents who grew frustrated with the substandard treatment of animals in our community and shelters. We foster all of the dogs we rescue so they can de-stress from their time on the streets or in the shelter system and get them used to the love and trust of being an inside companion animal living in a loving home. We also fully vet our dogs and treat any known issues, including dental, hernia repair, etc.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption events at various Petcos, Petsmarts & Pet Expos, plus private meet & greets throughout the week.

Please email cause4sbpaws@gmail.com for event schedule & to schedule a meet & greet!

Our Adoption Process...

We require a completed and approved pre-adoption questionnaire and interview, home check/meet & greet with all family members including pets, adoption fee, and a CFSBP adoption contract.
