WHAT A STORY GRACIE HAS (AKA Jazzy from SBC #A497555)!
She waited for an adopter at SBC for over a month. She was always overlooked because she is very shy. She has grown into a loveable but still timid girl in her foster home, but she is still overlooked at events because she is not the type of dog to run up to potential adopters with a big smile and tail wagging. She needs a family who understands shy dogs and enjoys bringing a shy dog out of her shell. :)
The video below is at her foster home, the VERY NEXT DAY after she arrived. The first tail wag we saw! We are beyond happy to see her so happy. She adores big dogs and really needs a family with other large dogs to help her confidence. She is fearful of some kids - does not try to nip or bite, but will hide from active children. Children who know how to approach her gently - she loves!
One day soon Gracie will make someone a very loving and grateful life partner.
