A few words from my foster mom:
Tatum is a puppy mill survivor and is trying very hard to make up for all the things she has missed so far in life. She is a sweet girl who wants very much to be loved, but is still timid. She loves pets and wants to get up on the couch or bed to be with us. Tatum loves to be with the other dog in our home, so a calm well balanced dog will be required for Tatum. Tatum loves to wrestle and play with her, and also sometimes will play with toys, especially chew type toys.
Tatum is working on house training and it is coming along and will use pee pads sometimes. She has also mastered short flights of stairs (3 steps) and runs up and down from the deck and also to get on and off the couch. She will walk on a leash, but needs more practice. She loves to pick up leaves, mulch or bits of debris outside and munch on it.
Tatum will need a home with a securely fenced yard , a companion dog, and someone, preferably with mill dog experience, home much of the time to complete her house training. She will do best in a quiet home as loud noises and fast movements still startle her. If you feel that you are the right home for this little gem, hurry and put in an application.
